Chamber of Construction and Building Materials Industry of Slovenia in the framework of project ISO CONSTRUCT - Certification of competencies of unskilled workers in the construction sector using standard ISO 17024, carried out additional trial (second) certification of interested construction workers-candidates. The certification was organized in the premises of public VET school ŠC Celje, Secondary School of Civil Engineering and Environmental Protection.

Certification of persons means the examination of skills, knowledge and competences of construction workers (employed or unemployed).The certification exam consist of written, practical and oral part, all in duration 8 hours.
The practical part of the exam represent the tasks of building and plastering, production notes and simple binding of reinforcement and concreting base.
On 02.07.2015 the certification exam Certified construction worker according to widespread  international standard ISO 17024:2012 successfully passed all 16 candidates, most of them were this time employed.

Construction workers obtained the certificate issued by SystemCERT Zertifizierungsges.m.b.H. representing the European proof of qualifications for a construction worker on the EU required level 2 (or 3 on the required level in Slovenia).
